This year, the Davis Double Century will be a virtual event. It is not possible to hold a live version of the DC until the risks from the pandemic have passed for the riders, volunteers and the communities that we ride through.
How it works
As with other virtual double centuries, you can ride what ever course you wish, so long as it meets the minimum number of miles and feet of elevation climbing as the traditional Davis Double Century course. After completing your ride, send your Strava results to us at double-century@davisbikeclub.org and we will give you California Triple Crown credit for completing the event. Please review all of the rules for the virtual Davis Double Century on the Davis Bike Club website: https://davisbikeclub.org/vddc/
T-Shirts
The Davis Double Century has long presented entrants with a T-shirt and we would like this year to be no different. Registration fee will include the T-shirt and the cost of shipping. The T-shirt image, color and style choices are available on the Davis Bike Club website.
The Benefits
Net proceeds from entry fees will go to the Davis Bike Club philanthropy account. In past years DBC has donated to a wide range of organizations and causes, including the Bicycle Hall of Fame, Davis Community Meals, Helmets for Kids, Yolo Food Bank, fire victim relief organizations, and many others.
